Ol Tukai Lodge is an upscale resort situated in the heart of the Amboseli National Park, one of East Africa’s most fascinating wildlife and nature parks, a hotels of rugged beauty, abundant water, lush grass and forest. Twin Room
Inspired by the beautiful topography, the property’s design concept takes full advantage of the flat plains on one side and the lush Acacia tree forest on the other. The buildings create an open atmosphere, blending traditional African style with the conveniences of modern life. All buildings have covered terraces built in gum pole and timber structures, with changing views of the landscape.
Amboseli Park
The lodge has 80 luxury guest bedrooms, decorated in chalet style and built from gum trees, local river stone, and slate. All rooms provide uninterrupted views of the wetlands or Mount. Kilmanjaro. Each room has a private bathroom and terrace.
Ol Tukai Lodge swimming pool
Ol Tukai’s outdoor swimming pool offers cooling fun in the sun or a refreshing break under the shade of the Acacia trees. Guests can relax in the lounge and read or play board games, which are available from the reception. Lectures, hosted by researchers from the nearby Elephant Research center, are offered regularly. Guests can also reference numerous nature books in the lodge’s library.
Elephant Bar
The Ol Tukai Dining Room opens onto a veranda, where lunch is typically served. The Pool Bar serves snacks and drinks between meals. The open-air Elephant Bar offers a wide selection of beers, cocktails and fresh fruit juices, as well as stunning views of the wetlands and MountKilimanjaro. For guests’ convenience, the lodge can exchange reasonable amounts of foreign currency. All major credit cards are also accepted. 24-hour telephone and fax service is available. Ol Tukai’s shop, well-stocked with personal toiletries and souvenirs, is open daily.
